HWS is thrilled to award the 2025 Lillie's Gift Scholarship to Danielle Phillips!

Danielle Phillips is a compassionate Licensed Social Worker pursuing her master's degree in social work at Cappella University. She has been with HWS Best Health for nearly two years as a Counselor. 

Danielle is deeply committed to advancing HWS Best Health's mission by using her experience with in-patient psychiatric care, case management, and macro work in school districts to help clients overcome systemic barriers like cultural stigma and accessibility.

Outside of work, her world revolves around her wonderful family, consisting of her 4-year-old son, 7-year-old daughter and her husband. Danielle has a love for traveling to new places, listening to audiobooks, and watching a good TV series. She also loves art and often incorporates it into her therapy sessions.

"Since joining the team in March 2023, I've felt incredibly supported in my role, and I'm still amazed at the kindness and support of my colleagues and supervisors. HWS is truly one of a kind and I feel so blessed to be a part of this family.
